Scooters Rock Shipping Policy
PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
All Internet Orders
Your order will usually be sent the same day or within 14 working days. IF your item cannot be dispatched within 14 working days, we will notify you by email - this is often the case with most of our custom made items or items that have to be ordered.
If your credit/debit card is declined we will contact you by telephone to ask you to confirm the card details or to provide alternative details.
IMPORTANT - If there are ANY items in your order that will be delayed e.g Painted Side Panels, or have to go on back order, Scooters Rock reserve the right to send you as much of the order as we can. Any backordered or delayed will be sent together afterwards. (not without consent from the customer) We make sure that backordered items are sent by the most cost effective way.
Items are dispatched Monday to Friday (Saturday Delivery is available at a cost, please contact us for details)
Shipping Costs - Explained
Whilst we understand that you want the cheapest possible way to get your parts to you as soon as possible, we need you to understand that its not always cheap to get parcels couriered. We use a nationwide courier, who offer great service. Each parcel is fully trackable and 90% of the time delivery is next day (after pick up). We try to keep our prices in line with other companies - if not a bit below. We currently charge £4.95 for small items and £7.95 for larger items - this is cheaper than most of out competitors - most charge at least £9.95 and some as much as £12-£14!
Shipping To The UK, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands
Orders under 2kg and up to the value of £30 are sent by Royal Mail.
Orders under 2kg with a value over £30 are sent by Royal Mail special delivery.
Orders over 2kg are sent by Courier (FED EX etc)
As with all of our items we dispatch, they have to be signed for, this protects both us and you the customer. We understand that you may not be at home in the day time, but we can deliver to alternate addresses such as a work place. If you choose to have the item delivered without being signed for, please notice that Scooters Rock can not be held responsible Lost Parcels. Once the item(s) has been sent its up to you to accept delivery - if you miss it, its your responsibility to arrange for a re-delivery.
European Shipments
We use Airmal for most small sized packages, this generally takes 3 working days or more to arrive.
Larger Packets we send with a courier by road service or by Fed Ex/DHL.
Please note shipping costs will not be added to your basket online, a Scooters Rock Employee will work out the most effective service and will contact you with the pirce.
North American & Canadian Shipments
We use Airmail for most small packages, this takes 3-5 working days.
Larger packages are often sent by Fed Ex/DHL.

Rest Of The World Shipments

As with all International shipments, you the customer are liable for any import duty or taxes that may incur .
Returns policy
In the unlikely event that a product is faulty, or we send the wrong part (yes it does happen sometimes - we are only human afterall!) we will do our best to rectify the problem for you.
Terms & Conditions:
If there is a problem with your product or you simply want a refund, the products MUST be sent back to us within 10 days from when your order was shipped. This also means, if you are buying a part that for instance you are not planning on using for a while (if its for a project or similar) you MUST test it within the 10 days - if you dont we will not accept it as a return, if you cannot abide by our terms and conditions then we kindly ask you not to place an order with us.
We will not refund you any of your postage costs unless the item is found to be faulty.
If the item is not faulty we impose a 15% handling charge - to cover our admin and re-stocking costs.
Clothing Returns: Clothing returns are accepted - but all clothing returns are based on a 90% handling cost (as all clothing is special order only). e.g. if you order an item for £100 inc postage and return the item, you will receive a £10 refund. We suggest you carefully choose sizing and colour etc before order. This is a strict method we enforce so please do not order the wrong size/colour then make a complaint about our refund process.
Stock Control
Unfortunately we do not yet have any stock control facilities for our website that actually works! We are currently working on a solution for this. Your item may show as being in stock - but there is a chance that it may not be, we will email you shortly after you place your order if the items are not in stock.
